Prismatic Evolutions

So you want to collect Prismatic Evolutions? There’s a lot of ways to collect Pokemon sets but how you do it depends totally on preferences. To see the different ways to collect, check out our video on our socials!

Complete Set

To collect a complete set, you don’t need every unique card that exists. For some, that just means 1 of every card. In Prismatic Evolutions, there are 180 unique cards. Any standard 3x3 or 4x3 binder will hold your cards perfectly fine. Check out the binder here! We strongly recommend VaultX as a binder provider. Their quality and price is unmatched. Additionally, their sleeves are side loading to keep cards from falling out as easily and they lack rings. Binder rings tend to damage cards so we should avoid them where possible.

Since there’s no real pattern to a complete set, you can arrange your cards consecutively. As demonstrated below.

Master Set

On the other hand, if you are a bit more ambitious, you can try for a complete master set. This means you collect every single card that can be pulled from a pack in the set. Prismatic Evolutions for the first 100 cards includes a reverse holo, Pokeball holo, and a Masterball holo. The trainers only include a Pokeball holo and no Masterball holo. That makes for 448 total cards you need. A standard 360 card binder is not enough to hold this master set. Additionally, if you want to space out cards that do not have 4 variants you’ll need extra space to hold it. There are 51 spaces you need to add to keep all columns of the binder the same card. That makes 448 cards and 51 extra spaces for 499 spaces. You can collect with a great binder we recommend.

You may wonder why we recommend spacing out your binder. It’s purely aesthetic but can also help when inserting cards to know if you made a mistake. If you space out cards that don’t have 3 other variants (the ex cards), you will have all of the regular variants in 1 column, all the reverse holos in column 2, Pokeball holos in column 3, and all master ball holos in Column 4. The binder would resemble something like below:
